Activities 2019

German Championship of Giant Schnauzers in Sedlitz 2019

With temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius already at 9:00 am, everything was a little more difficult on the trail.

Lolita from Beisetal with Guntram Krauß

Note regarding protection training: there were a total of 18 dogs participating in protection training.
Between 79 and 0 points were achieved by 32 dogs.


Neid vom Beisetal with Sarah Krauß has won her first German Championship.

26-81-82a, 189 P.ges.

King vom Beisetal with Thomas Janoschka unfortunately also had bad luck on the trail.
4 -88 -83a,175 P.ges.

State IGP Championship Hesse 2019

Our members took 1st place, 2nd place and 6th place.

PSK Fritzlar provided both the state champion and the runner-up.

1st place Thomas Janoschka with King vom Beisetal with 98 93 90a total 281 points.

2nd place Sarah Krauß with Neid vom Beisetal with 97 87 96a 280 points and the best protection work of the day

6th place Guntram Krauß with Lolita vom Beisetal with 96 85 92a 273 points.

They all qualified for the German Championship and the World Championship.


Activities 2018

The IPO and FH World Championships took place in Montelupo, Florence, from October 25th to October 28th, 2018.

53 teams had registered for the 27th ISPU World Championship -IPO 3- for Giant Schnauzers!

For our local group, Guntram Krauß and Lolita vom Beisetal started with 86 89 87a, a total of 262 points, and 14th place out of 53 dogs.

German Championship of Giant Schnauzers 2018

Two members from our local group participated with their dogs.

Lolita vom Beisetal with Guntram Krauß 83 86 84 a 253 P. 15th place out of 32 dogs

King vom Beisetal with Thomas Janoschka (80 80 82a 242 P.) achieved 20th place out of 32 participants. Congratulations to the 2nd place winner!


Hesse State Competition 2018

The IPO 3 state qualifying competition took place at PSK Fulda on May 5th, 2018.

Sarah mit Neid vom Beisetal successfully passed the exam at not even 3 years old, achieving 4th place with 83 90 88a 261 P.

Guntram and Lolita vom Beisetal achieved 2nd place with 96 88 90 274 points.

Benyamin Husen, with Forrest Gump from Beisetal, has taken 5th place with 86 75 88a.

Thomas Janoschka with King vom Beisetal passed in 8th place with 76 90 77a 243 points.



Activities 2017

State Championship IPO 2017

On May 6th and 7th, 2017, the OG Fritzlar hosted the Hessian State IPO Championship on the club grounds of SV Borken.
Ten dog handlers and their dogs had registered.
On Saturday morning, the trial began with the tracking work, overseen by judge Roland Schmitz. The results ranged from 71 to 99 points.
After the tracking work, Claudia Janoschka with Orlando vom Beisetal and Sarah Krauß with Neid vom Beisetal successfully passed the BH (companion dog test).
On Sunday morning from 9:00 am, the participants started with obedience training followed by protection work.
Martina Moormann with Xeena von Elberfeld became state champion with 95/96/86 277 points.

It was a fantastic event all around, and also very successful for our club members.

FH State Tracking Dog Championship
On May 27th, 7 dog handlers started the state tracking dog championship.
The track layers began their work at 6:30 a.m. in high summer temperatures.
Under the watchful eye of judge Heinz Böskens, 6 Giant Schnauzers and 1 Schnauzer began the tracking search.
Susanne Zeidler-Stang became state champion with
Quo from Elberfeld with 97 points.
2. Ulrike Hohoff with Ajax vom Wetzlarer Land 96 points.
3. Ulrike Hohoff with Vranci vom Beisetal 91 points.
4. Martina Moormann with Xeena von Elberfeld 85 points.
5. Benjamin Husen with Forest Gump vom Beisetal 83 points.
6. Regina Wahl with Karo Mio vom Grafen zu Gaalen 76 points.
7. Dieter Oster with Serona Con Todos los Santos 53 points.
Petra Reininger and her dog Alice vom Karthaus won the state companion dog trophy. Klaus Kulozik and his dog Geronimo von der Wolfshöhle successfully passed the IPO 2 with 267 points.

The German Obedience Championship Class 3 took place in Willich on July 29th and 30th, 2017.

German Championship of Giant Schnauzers in Geldersheim
from September 9th to 10th, 2017

Benjamin Husen represented us with Forrest Gump from Beisetal, achieving a respectable 15th place.

The IPO and FH World Championship took place in Horni Briza from October 26th to October 29th, 2017.

59 teams had registered for the 26th ISPU World Championship -IPO 3- for Giant Schnauzers!
Unfortunately, our two teams had a bit of bad luck.

Benjamin Husen with Forrest Gump was unfortunately disqualified after a very good protection service.
33 teams were registered for the 1st ISPU World Championship -IPO-FH- for all Pinscher and Schnauzer breeds!
Unfortunately, only 6 out of 33 teams reached the finish line.
On November 4th, 2017, a local group trial was held at the PSK Göttingen, where our member Th. Janoschka and his dog King vom Beisetal successfully passed the FH 1 (tracking dog level 1).

On November 19, 2017, an examination was held at PSK Kassel, in which our starters successfully participated.

On November 11, 2017, there was a competition at the Borken local group where Thomas Janoschka with King vom Beisetal and Klaus Kulozik with Geronimo von der Wolfshöhle represented us. Thomas with King scored 82 points in IPO 3 Section C, and Klaus with Geronimo scored 76 points in IPO 3 Section C.
On October 15, 2018, Klaus and his dog Geronimo von der Wolfshöhle passed the IPO 3 with 245 points. Thomas and King vom Beisetal achieved 84 points in FH1, and Benjamin Husen and Forrest Gump vom Beisetal achieved 96 points in FH1.
On November 4, 2017, our sports friend Günter Zabee successfully passed the BH/VT test at the Spreewald local group.
On December 16, 2017, there was another local group test at PSK Fritzlar where our young dog handlers were successful.
Sarah Krauß with Pizza vom Beisetal and Thomas Janoschka with Pirelli vom Beisetal have passed the companion dog test.
Sarah Krauß and Neid vom Beisetal passed the IPO 2 with a score of 98 92 80a 270.
Sarah Frey passed the SPr 3 with Mailo vom Elberfeld with 91 points.
We can be proud of our small club.
Not to be forgotten is our Jutta from Switzerland, she successfully completed the FH 1.
Passed with 94 points.
I believe there are hardly any PSK clubs where almost all members are active dog handlers.
Four dogs from our club alone participated in a LGA (Landesgagabe - State Championship) and all passed; that's a fantastic achievement.

I wish all dog handlers good luck this year and hope you achieve the goals you have set for yourselves.
